Parent Management Training
Parent Management Training (PMT), developed by Kazdin (2005), is a parent training protocol for children between ages 7-14 years old that treats oppositional, aggressive, and antisocial behaviors. This protocol mainly involves the parents and incorporates the child in role-play to reinforce the skills taught and modeled by the therapist. This therapy is a good choice for children who are too old to participate in Parent Child Interaction Training (PCIT).
